Console Arcs v3.0.0 Patch

Tsukiotoshi is finally ready for release, along with lip-sync support! And a slew of enhancements to go with it. Currently requires manual installation. The automated installer is still configured to install the old 2.1 version. This will be added to the automated installer after we verify the release is stable.

Installation Instructions

1. Download the ConsoleArcs.Voice.and.Graphics.Patch.v3.0.0.zip archive above and extract the contents to the HigurashiEp04_Data directory
2. Download the following four archives and extract the contents to the HigurashiEp04_Data\StreamingAssets directory:
   ConsoleArcs-BGM
   ConsoleArcs-CG
   ConsoleArcs-SE
   ConsoleArcs-Voices
3. Launch the application using HigurashiEp04.exe
   (it'll take 30 seconds to launch the first time you run it, that's normal. It won't do that on subsequent launches.)

Changelog

• Tsukiotoshi arc is fully translated and playable in English.
• All three arcs now support lip-sync. Make sure you're using the "original" sprites option and press 7 to enable it.
• All three arcs upgraded to use 1440p sprites and 1080p backgrounds.
• Added the opening monologue to Someutsushi.
• Many spelling/grammar/translation fixes in Someutsushi and Kageboushi. (thanks, everyone that submitted issues)
• Various graphics/audio fixes in Someutsushi and Kageboushi.
• Various changes under the hood that will simplify development of future releases.

Console Arcs v2.1.0 Patch

This is it, the first official release of the Kageboushi arc with complete English translation. This is the answer arc for Someutsushi, so make sure you read that one first. The patch includes both arcs, so you'll be good to go either way.

Console Arcs v2.0 Patch

Version 2.0 patch adds all files necessary to play Kageboushi in Japanese (if you can ignore the red X issue). English is not yet supported. I recommended you wait until the next version before downloading, but I'm putting it out there for anyone curious enough to try it.

Console Arcs v1.4 Patch

Version 1.4 is a very minor update. Barring any major issues, this will probably be the final update to Someutsushi. I'll focus on the next arc from here.

Console Arcs v1.3 Patch

Version 1.3 finally adds all the TIPS and the omake sequence to Someutsushi. At this point, Someutsushi is completely feature-complete. If you've already read the arc and just want to skip to the TIPS/omake, you'll have to hold down the Ctrl key to fast-forward to them.

Console Arcs v1.1 Patch

Version 1.1 is complete! This completes a second editing pass of Someutsushi and significantly increases the quality of the English translation.

Edit: I made a very minor revision to this release, to fix about 4 small spelling/grammar fixes. The patch above has been updated to include those fixes.

Someutsushi English Translation

Version 1.0 is complete. Someutsushi is 100% translated to English.

Someutsushi PC Port (Japanese Lang Only) v0.1

This is a pre-release version of the patch. Currently playable in Japanese only. I'm mostly just uploading it so the content is out there in case I disappear without finishing it.

Installation

1. Install Higurashi Ch.4 Himatsubushi on your computer
2. Download the patch files Here
3. Copy the contents of the patch into this folder: "Higurashi 04 - Himatsubushi\HigurashiEp04_Data\StreamingAssets"
4. Launch the game from HigurashiEp04.exe
