More a question than an issue. It seems that it's not possible to render a triplet containing one quarter note and one 8th note (like this). The parser seems to always need 3 notes to create a triplet.
My questions:
Is it actually impossible or did I miss something ?
If it's not possible, is it on purpose and if so, what is the reason ? I know I can create an equivalent triplet by replacing the quarter note by two tied 8th notes, but creating a triplet with one quarter and one 8th seems perfectly valid to me.
As said on Wikipedia: "The triplet indication may also apply to notes of different values, for example a quarter note followed by one eighth note, in which case the quarter note may be regarded as two triplet eighths tied together (Gherkens 1921, 19)."
Thanks for your answer!
