I added some notes to the beginning of the Hall of Fame, so everyone can add a status column with the next commit. Do you think this is enough? What do you think about the states?
Sounds like there's already talk of building a site for this, which is the obvious next step. I would say for states "planning", "development", "beta testing", "live" or "abandon". What do you think? Also, as I mentioned in an email, you need a slack channel!
As stated in #74, I think there ought to be a "Viable" state between "Starting" and "Released", when the code has had enough development for the core functionality to be operational, but not finished enough to release (missing surrounding support structures like a UI affordance).
Also, I don't think "Continuing" should be a mutually exclusive state from these: there should instead be more axes of development, like "Progress" (how far along the project is) as well as "Status" (whether the project is in active development / dormant / stagnant / stalled / abandoned / etc).
that way we can see if projects are actually completed. it would also add a little pressure to move things along.
