External syslog and/or MQTT xmit

Can I ask if you could enable a local external syslog option?

Also, can this be set to also xmit to an additional mqtt server? localhost:1883,10.0.60.45:1883

Thanks, and glad you like the project.

A couple of points here:

1. localhost:1883 will not work from the device side unless an MQTT broker is actually running on the Project Aura device itself.
   From Aura's point of view, localhost means the ESP32, not your PC/server. So you would need a real LAN IP or hostname there.

2. Right now MQTT is single-broker only.
   The current implementation is built around one broker host/port/topic set, so sending to multiple MQTT brokers at the same time is not supported yet.

3. External syslog is also not implemented at the moment, but it is a reasonable feature request.

For the multi-MQTT case, my preference would usually be:

• keep Aura publishing to one broker
• then use broker-side bridge/forwarding/republish to any additional MQTT targets

That is generally cleaner and more reliable than adding multi-broker fan-out inside the device firmware.
