The problem seems to lie in the app not being added to the workspace and channel. In the workspace I clicked "Add App" on the bottom. The app was then visible on the workspace. In a second step I've added it manually to the channel. It's working fine now. Some manual steps required. As often with open source projects, a bit of documentation would be nice!
