🚀 The feature

Proposed Changes

1️⃣ Website (Resonate-Website)

  • Append a YouTube <a> element inside the .social-links div.
  • Use a custom SVG icon consistent with existing social icons.
  • Configure:
    • target="_blank"
    • rel="noopener noreferrer"
    • aria-label="YouTube"
  • Maintain existing styling and formatting conventions.

2️⃣ README.md

  • Add a YouTube badge at the top (if badges are used).
  • Add the YouTube link under a "Connect With Us" section.
  • Create the section if it does not exist.
  • Keep formatting consistent with the current structure.

🎯 Expected Outcome

  • YouTube icon appears alongside other social platforms (GitHub, GitLab, Discord, X).
  • README reflects the official YouTube presence.
  • No build errors, lint warnings, or UI regressions.

Motivation, pitch

YouTube is a powerful medium for community growth, outreach, and showcasing project work.
Adding the official channel link will:

  • Improve discoverability for contributors and users
  • Provide a centralized platform for tutorials, demos, and announcements
  • Strengthen AOSSIE’s public presence and credibility
  • Ensure consistent branding across all platforms

This is a small, focused enhancement with meaningful impact on engagement and visibility.
