It’s possible to get a custom (non-example) scenario running by using the example settings files as templates but it’s hard to be sure that your settings are actually aligned with what you think populationsim is doing. There is also some level of ambiguity on what settings are actually passed into the populationsim run call if using the populationsim_run.py script. For example, you can set up multi-processor settings correctly, but if you run your scenario using the ‘default’ populationsom_run.py script it does not run with multi-processing enabled.
