Please: New maintainer for this project

I think this npm module clearly needs a new maintainer. Many people depend on it and there is actually work being done but nobody is merging these pull requests.

@AlexDisler Do you plan to support and maintain this repo ?

IMHO, just forget this plugin because it seems to me nobody is checking it or maintaining.

As and advice, switch to https://github.com/ionic-team/cordova-res

It might do the job you need and it's ready for adaptive icons. Very simple, it worked for me and the maintenance is pretty good.

Definitely this! This project should be marked as not supported, legacy or incomplete, as this doesn't do conversion to all iOS icon formats, and leaves the default icon on app switcher..

cordova-res supports splash screen conversion and makes changes to the config file, therefore the script only needs to run, when the icon is updated, not every time you re-create the platform.
