integration of `pinnacle` wm via `ext-workspace-v1`

Hi,

we want to integrate pinnacle-comp/pinnacle#358 via the ext-workspace-v1 wayland protocol, and I was unsure whats needed beside setting up the protocol for waybar integration ? Do we need to add ´pinnacle` to some config so that it gets detected by waybar or is there some auto-discovery going on ?

There is a PR open, which is very very similar to niri-s integration of ext-workspace-v1. (But i dont know if waybar relies on this protocol for niri).

is there a docu we can follow to integrate another wm to waybar ?

Contrary to other Waybar workspace modules, the Waybar workspace module for the ext-workspace-v1 protocol (ext/workspaces) is not tied to any specific compositor. It should just work once you have set up Waybar with that module included. See https://github.com/Alexays/Waybar/blob/master/man/waybar-ext-workspaces.5.scd for an example configuration.

FYI, the module will have to be expanded for full support with the addition of a 'deactivate' on click action

@xMAC94x seeing your comment at pinnacle-comp/pinnacle#358 (comment) , do note that the ext/workspaces Waybar module does not have the concept of persistent workspaces.
