From Community #22544 :

The following functions work well. Thanks.

  • /usr/sbin/poweroff
  • /usr/sbin/reboot

The asterisk restart seems to just stop asterisk.

  • /etc/asterisk/scripts/asterisk-restart

Seems to be a bug.

There is something with systemctl that appears to be deadlocking on the restart from within asterisk. However the command does succeed, it just take about 75 seconds.
