Is this request related to a bug?

I can't use touch controls without changing the Minecraft key binds every time I change input method.

Describe the request.

Being able to change what keyboard layout/key bindings would be necessary for me to use it.

Anything else?

I didn't find an option to change what keys the touch joystick emulates.
Minecraft expects ZQSD instead of WASD because the keyboard layout and controller layout (I could changethat in the settings) are for the french keyboard layout.

Does the virtual joystick use the controller mappings ?

Currently I can't really use it without rebinding movement to WASD in the game settings witch is hell because I change input method pretty often (Keyboard & Mouse, Controller and Touch) but then it dones't work with a keyboard.

virtual joystick is hard coded to wasd afaik, i suggest just not using it, you can get a similar effect with swipable dpad-ish buttons

Yeah that's what I'm gonna do. Could this ever be implemented, though ?
I reported it as a feature request and huge amounts of people use non WASD movement keys.
