The breadcrumbs bar has a light gray background with all folders, except the current one, being invisible unless your mouse is over them. In the attached screenshot, the Domů folder is my home folder with a mouse over it. The Práce folder is the folder I've currently opened. The invisible folder between them is my documents folder.
I'm using Gnome Shell 3.30. If I switch to the default Adwaita theme, the breadcrumbs show withou any issues.
