Could you check the webkit console for errors and let me know what you find? First you have to enable debug mode in /etc/lightdm/lightdm-webkit2-greeter.conf. Then when the greeter loads right-click anywhere on the screen and choose Inspect Element.

there are some errors trying to load the antergos-walpaper directory and a bunch of CSS::Font-Awosome warnings.

But these is weird. I disable the detect-theme-errors option and now it seems to work.

Thanks

How did you install the greeter? Are you running Antergos?

Okay, looks like there's something wrong with the PKGBUILD. I will check on it. Thanks for the report!

Actually its not the PKGBUILD. If you installed from the AUR then there should have not been any mention of antergos-wallpapers. Still looking into it.

@jcmbass I should have asked this in the beginning..are you using the default greeter theme or a 3rd-party theme?

I'm at a lost for how you saw errors related to the antergos-wallpapers directory if you installed it from the AUR 😕 Did you make any changes to the default config file for the background directory?
