I have Homebridge up and running for several years. Just installed this plug-in and tried to add Panasonic TV, but just get this error message and no configuration is saved:-
"The Viera TV at 10.33.33.197 could not be edited.
Please, do make sure that it is turned on and connected to the network, and then try again.
Also, if you haven't done it already...
...on your TV go to Menu / Network / TV Remote App Settings and make sure that the following settings are all turned ON:
TV Remote
Powered On by Apps
Networked Standby"
This TV is a TX-P65VT30B so a few years old but can be controlled by Panasonic TV Remote 2 and possibly v3 but not tried that. It cannot be started from the network (dumb idea from Panasonic), but I am not looking for control as such. I just want a power_state trigger I can use in HomeKit to kick off automations when the TV is turned off. That's all I need.
As I said, I just need an On/Off trigger to use in HomeKit. Is there any way this plug-in would be able to do that?
