Description

This service generates RSS from various official news sources about League of Legends, Valorant, Legends of Runeterra and Wild Rift

How it works

All code is written in Python and called in AWS Lambda every 10 minutes. In the process, we request information from our sources, generate an RSS feed from it and upload it to AWS S3

Libraries used

• requests - for HTTP requests
• feedgen - for generating RSS / Atom
• feedparser - for parsing RSS / Atom
• boto3 - to upload files to S3
• serverless - for easy deployment on AWS

Compliance with the standard

All generated RSS feeds were provided using the W3C Feed Validation Service and are valid Atom 1.0 feeds.
