Shouldn't we add a license for the document from the beginning? FDL or the like?

I guess we would need to apply the license to both repositories, github und gitbook?
Or should we continue discussion only in gitbook (since this is a brach of it?)

What about GNU Free Document License?
We should then discuss if it is useful to mark some parts as "Invariant Sections" to set a privacy standard which cannot be diluted.

The repositories are in sync. We can keep the discussions/issues here as Gitbook seems broken beyond usable. I would be okay with the GNU Free Document License.

Important is, that we do not use a license that prohibits commercial use (like the one used by M$ for the SDL: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/ )

Earlier decision on license makes contributions from others more likely.

OK, dann http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/?
Is "Attribution" important? Would that be "apppets"?
Or would "public domain" be enough?

I think public domain is fine.
