Is there a better way to achieve this common requirement pattern in Apra Pipes ?

Often there is a requirement of overriding the base class (Module) behaviour depending on strategies of Detail class. Currently, our approach is to send the required method of the Module class as a lambda function to the Detail class constructor and override this function in concrete classes of Detail's strategy. Common examples are makeFrame and send methods. For eg. in MultimediaQueue - the behaviour of send changes based on state of the module (mState).

Is there a better way to do this ?
