Code not working : Chapter03.01.1 as-is

I tried this in IE11, the current FireFox, Chrome (I think current: company-controlled machine) and MS Edge. It sort of worked in (I think) IE, but not completely. The code was pulled today from GitHub, unzipped & opened. No modifications. I do have a current AdBlock on the Chrome installation.

Just thought you'd like to know, since the book specifically says this is a "complete" implementation.

Thanks! I've found this book very useful. I've not encountered another book that didn't treat the subjec (and/or javascript) as either "newbie" or "I assume you already know this stuff".
