Seeking new maintainer / project owner #146
Comments
Looks like a maintainer was found. |
Thanks! I will probably end up granting commit rights or ownership to contributors who send PRs that are mostly correct. A potential starter issue: #145 suggests grab-site needs either a different install_requires or a pypi release for https://github.com/ludios/wpull. The grab-site README and travis build also needs an update to avoid using the now-missing pip option. |
Hello. We are wondering if you would be interested in selling grab-site. - RL LLC |
@ivan who was the new maintainer? I am looking to help out. Just when I have free time, so small things. |
We do not have a new maintainer yet (I don't know why "Looks like a maintainer was found." is above), but any github.com/ArchiveTeam person is authorized to give repo permissions to someone with good commits. |
2023 update: I am now overcommitted with many other projects and will probably not be able to update grab-site for > Python 3.8, a newer ludios_wpull, Docker support, the improvements to the dashboard made in ArchiveBot, or some now-necessary updates to the ignore lists. If you're in the ArchiveTeam organization, you are welcome to start committing good commits and tagging versions. If not, please work in a fork for a bit and someone will later give you write access to this repo if grab-site is not being made worse :) I will probably be around to provide a little feedback or old rationales if needed. |

I am overcommitted and request that someone else take a look at maintaining grab-site.
There are a lot of things in the issue backlog that could be fixed.
I expect to have very little time to work on grab-site in the future, but I may be able to provide some guidance around the code either here or on the ArchiveTeam IRC channels.
