Introduction to statistical analysis in biology using generalized linear analysis. Topics include: uncertainty, linear regression, multiple regression, analysis of variance, hierarchical models, and generalized distributions. Weekly course activities consist of one lecture, covering the theoretical basis of statistics, and one computer session, wherein students will gain practical data analysis experience using the STAN programming language.
