Orchestrator must relay gate results to agents verbatim, not interpreted #157

Description

@luisherranz

Goal

When the orchestrator hands a downstream agent the results of guardrails/gates — or any prior-phase evidence — it passes them verbatim, without interpretation or framing. An agent whose value is independent adversarial judgment receives the raw results, never the orchestrator's theory about what they mean.

Context

In the iAPI Mini-Cart run, the orchestrator pre-framed the e2e results to the code-reviewer as "16 of 17 failures are real environment/test-data noise," giving the one real regression cover to be lumped in with the rest; the reviewer then approved. The orchestrator-as-router is already a principle (humans only talk to the orchestrator), but nothing in reference/autonomous-workflow.md or reference/autonomous-phases/4 - code.md requires gate results to reach agents uninterpreted.

Assumptions / directions to explore

Open — for later phases to confirm or revise, not requirements.

  • Likely a short rule in reference/autonomous-workflow.md and/or reference/autonomous-phases/4 - code.md: the orchestrator relays gate results and prior-phase evidence verbatim, with no editorializing toward downstream agents.
  • Owner intends this to stay small — a short sentence, not a new section.
