First, thank you for your enthusiasm to improving the Avalonia ecosystem. It's great to see community members investing their time to build tools that could help the community. However, I need to bring up an important matter regarding the name of your project. As outlined in our trademark policy, the Avalonia trademark is owned by AvaloniaUI OÜ, and we have specific guidelines about how it can be used in product names to avoid confusion. Using "Avalonia Designer" or similar variations as a product name isn't permitted under our trademark policy, as it could lead to confusion about whether this is an official Avalonia product. Would you be willing to adjust your project name to follow our trademark policy? For example, 'BoTech Designer for Avalonia' would be compliant with our guidelines. Again, we appreciate your contribution to the ecosystem and hope you'll continue developing your tool. Please let me know if you have any questions about our trademark policy. |

Hi Avalonia Community and Avalonia Team,
I have been developing programs with c# for about 2 years. I initially used win forms for the graphical interface, then WPF and now Avalonia. Although I enjoy to code Applications with Avalonia and c#, I really miss the designer of WPF and WinForms.
Therefore I started the Project BoTech.DesignerForAvalonia to give AvaloniaUI an Designer and to make it a little bit easier in the future for me to design the views for Avalonia Apps.
This project is not yet finished and should be finished in summer 2025. Or rather, it should be usable by then.
