Relationship to the Landing Zone Accelerators?

I am looking at a variety of use cases where I'd like to template an azd-compatible repo that depends on the common infrastructure set up by a Landing Zone Accelerator. This makes the repo explicitly not self-contained, and I'd like to be able to signpost through the templating mechanism that this template has a number of dependencies, and it will tell you where they're defined and how to provision them, but it won't implicitly do that for you.

Is something like this imagined or planned for azd?
