Use case

When a order is paid but the paid amount is greater than the expected price, add a generic tip product to the order and set its price to the additional paid amount.
That'll help Bootik's owners for their accountability.

@coyotte508 to discuss soon, it'll be mandatory for nearly every future project, to keep good tracks of accountability

This is only for bitcoin on-chain payments, and it's tracked in the orders tab already.

For LN invoices, there's no tip possible I think? The only thing is buying more donation products (eg buy 10 beers instead of 1)

Good point.
@ludomire can you confirm that, once you scan a lightning payment request QR Code, you cannot change the amount to pay more ?

@coyotte508 it's not the case
It's near the PWYW product, but this one has to be created automatically when you're paid more than you expect.
In that case (let's say you wait for 100€, you're paid 102€), the system has to create a 2€ priced "tip" product for accountability purpose.
