Yes, I understand. Again, apologies for posting here--I found your email since. Perhaps I am naïve, but I thought that perhaps a scholar and scientist as knowledgeable and well-connected as you are might be an invaluable resource to the Drosophila community at a time when they were being forced to vacate their current home on the Web. I care very deeply about research, scholarship, and democratization of information, and rather than sit back and watch, I felt compelled to reach out to ask for guidance and help for my fellow scientists. My sense was that if anybody would have a useful opinion on this situation and how to help, it would be you. I mean that with the greatest respect.
