Describe the bug

When this message appears that project will not send any WUs. Every time this appears it is wrong. For 2 days now I have 3 computers getting a continuous supply of WCG WUs but 3 computers have gotten this false message. There is no reason these computers can't be running WUs.
Resetting the project does not restart the work flow.

Steps to reproduce

This bogus message and the work blockage appears randomly for no apparent reason. I suspect everyone has run into it and perhaps ignored it, failed to check their messages, or just switched to a different project.

Expected behavior

When I request work and WUs are on the server I should get them.

Additional context

This blockage should be eliminated as it serves no productive purpose. At a minimum we should have the ability to force it to reset to a work flow state.

Please enable 'cpu_sched' and 'cpu_sched_debug' log flags, then request new tasks again and post here the detailed event log. It should show why you receive that message.

Ok, I'm enabling them. I found that if I detached the project and reattached it I got work flow. So all computers are busy. I'll update when it happens again.

@Aurum420, when you detached and attached a project again, you literally erased all the data about this project, so it has the top priority in comparison to the other projects that were added before and had some work already done for them. But this doesn't explain why you had that message. I personally think that everything is fine, and you received this message correctly because that project had very low priority in comparison to the other projects you have, and BOINC client tries to have work done equally for all added projects unless you set some different priority for any of the projects.
Please update this ticker when you receive that message again and from your point of view it's incorrect, otherwise roughly in two weeks I'll just close this issue.

Wrong. When it happened there was only one CPU project and one GPU active. I suspect your priority calculation is incapable of recognizing that a project is set to No More Work with no WUs present. So its priority should be zero and the single project seeking work should be 100%. I suspect it happened when I switched from Einstein to WCG or vice versa.
Detaching from the project that could not get WUs was not an attempt to fix the problem just an act of desperation to get something to do.
BTW, I don't see any new logs after activating 'cpu_sched' and 'cpu_sched_debug.' What are they called and what directory will they be found in?

@Aurum420, these logs are in the Event log window. These particular log lines will have these flags as prefixes, so you can easily find them among the other log lines.
