Conditional pagemod

Hi,

Can pagemod be triggerd conditionaly? Let's say there is a form with a yesno field. Could pagemod be called only when the yesno field is checked?

I think this is already possible with the fieldsets of the bureaucracy plugin:

No I didn't, yet. I thought maybe it's not possible since pagemod is an action option and not a fieldset parameter, but I'll give it a try...
I'll report the result here. Please do not close just yet.

It is indeed an action option, so you might be right that it will not work..

Well it seems like it work (or not) but I am not sure. I get error messages but it seems like the page is somehow partially edited anyway.... The thing is I get the error message even when the conditional fieldsets are not triggered... Maybe it's better if I put my code here

NOTE: I use "static" to comment for myself in my DW form while it's under construction...

1. I have a page: playground:random_form

2. Then the playground:random_template page:

3. Then the playground:random_template2_for_addpage_and_pagemod page:

4. Now when I play around with this form I get the following error message (twice):
   "This page [random] does not exist, cannot be modified"

5. However:

• the page playground:randomname is created (using playground:random_template as a template) and populated with the correct values (random name, random choice, conditions)
• the page playground:randomname:conditions is created (using playground:random_template2_for_addpage_and_pagemod page as a template) but it looks like the following:

<pagemod add_conditions output_before> 
working condition 2nd field  

nonworking conditions 2nd field  

</pagemod>

Thus the values for working and non-working conditions from the 1st conditional fieldset are either not written to this page or they are overwritten by the values from the 2nd conditional fieldset.
I don't understand the error message(s) since the values from the 2nd conditional fieldset indeed replace the values from the template (however they stay inside the <pagemod> </pagemod> bloc and are thus not displayed on the actual page)...
I don't understand why the error message(s) is/are displayed when pagemod should do nothing since the conditional fieldsets are not triggered (yesno is not checked)

6. Note that the submit button is not displayed if I put it any lower in the form. With the current form the button is displayed but conditional fieldsets are then displayed bellow the button which is not convenient at all...

I don't understand what's going on here. well I think I need some rest and to review my code... Sorry I'm a newbie. However any help or advice is appreciated.
