  • Continued improving and adding to the Farmers’ Almanac, as well as maintenance;
  • Managed several internal processes around Deposit payroll, Unripe Bean distributions, BFBPs, drafting budget BIPs, etc.;
  • Organized the Immunefi Bug Bounty program and designed the corresponding governance structure around the Beanstalk Immunefi Committee via BIP-26;
  • Spearheaded the process for publishing monthly operations reports for increased transparency around budget usage; and
  • Coordinated with Halborn on the upcoming Seraph BIP and its corresponding governance structure.

Plans for Q4

  • Continue to add to and maintain the Farmers’ Almanac as Beanstalk is upgraded;
  • Support script writing for the upcoming video series of Beanstalk explainers;
  • Continue coordinating with Halborn on the upcoming Seraph BIP;
  • Research and develop a multistage transition plan back to permissionless governance; and
  • Continue doing whatever needs to get done from an operations perspective—much of it which comes up on an ad hoc basis.

mod323

Original BFC proposal: BFCP-A-2

Silo Chad

Original BFC proposal: BFCP-A-3

Post-Unpause Q3 contributions

  • Led the UI and Subgraph teams to push Beanstalk-UI versions 2.0.5 through 2.0.22—notable changes included:
    • Swap page with multiple swap routes;
    • Governance page;
    • Pod Market graph;
    • vAPYs; and
    • Historical charts showing the value of a Farmer’s Deposit, Stalk, and Seeds.
  • Initiated the Beanstalk protocol RFC process;
  • Grew Beanstalk Farms’ list of contributing engineers to a total of 14 across full-time, part-time and grant contributors, including two new full-time engineering hires (Bean-Sama and ALECKS).
  • Served as a coordinator between engineering teams—in Q3 we began hosting weekly engineering all-hands meetings and prioritizing upgrades to the protocol and UI; and
  • Initiated an audit of the Beanstalk UI with Halborn.

Plans for Q4

  • Complete any necessary improvements to the UI or other infrastructure per Halborn’s recommendation after completion of their frontend audit;
  • Open source the UI;
  • Continue to coordinate the various engineering teams across on-chain development, middleware, frontend, design, etc.; and
  • Implement interfaces for:
    • Pod Market V2 (generic pricing curves), likely accompanied by a more advanced Pod Market graph;
    • Wells and their associated functionality;
    • A Balances page refactor;
    • A new Dutch auction for Soil at the beginning of each Season; and
    • A Beanstalk-native Fertilizer market.
