In the meantime do you recommend cutting off the microcontroller and connect the sensor to an RJ9 plug directly?

Hey Jonathan, nope, never tried that so I'm definetely not recommending it.

If anyone else needs to get the WTS01 to work, you can just cut out the microcontroller and reconnect the cables. The sensor acts as a regular DS18B20 then.
