really miss the old yet very informative home screen

I understand that on the new home layout there are many more options to choose, and that this should be possibly the way to go, but I really miss the possibility of seeing the last movies added, or the next episodes to play. how I currently solve this is by overwritting the current includes_home.xml with the previous version's one, although I would prefer to have all the files up to date.

would it be possible to have a flyout box when focusing movies or series containing the previous information? with the amount of space left on the right of the menu it looks like you may have already thought about it, although you didn't had time to code it. if I'm not right, either because you didn't thought about it or either because you did and discarded it, would it be possible to have 2 home screen layouts and select them through a yes/no parameter on the skin options page (which, by the way, does not exist although it should)?

thanks a lot for your work. your skin has really given my XBMC a great look for a long time on previous versions, and I would love to continue using it with gotham. by the way, frodo version 1.0.1 on gotham does work ;)
