long mp4 videos not shown

Editing clips in 360 mash works fine, but longer videos do not get shown. No video still appears upon having opened them in the program, the only evidence I have of having opened the video is that it plays the sound. Any way to solve this? Makes anonymization of the images a little harder (or easier but less informative...)

What was the video format for these longer videos?
And by any chance, do you happen to know if DOTE able to display them?
Reminder: If they are HEVC (h.265) they won't display, even if they are able to be exported.

Argh of course...! I thought I had fixed that long ago, but apparently not. You're right, they're hecv. Re-encoding helped, the vids are now shown in both DOTE and 360mash :). Sorry and thanks!

No problem at all!
If anything it reminds me that I should probably find a way to check if an imported video is using the HVEC codec, and display a message to the user warning them of the incompatibility. (Or perhaps one day, offer to convert it for them! 😆)
