DOTE v1.0.5 update

This release is an update with one major bug fix and three minor bug fixes. The release is the complete software required for any Edition. The free Edition has some restrictions. Purchasing the DOTE Pro or DOTE Pro Community license will unlock the premium features. See our webshop for more details.

• To install for the first time, download DOTE for your operating system and follow the installation instructions.
• To update your current version of DOTE, download the latest version and install as if for the first time. DOTE will be updated, keeping all your settings and options.

You can download the release version appropriate for your computer operating system below:

Bugs Squashed

• Important fix for DOTE quitting incorrectly when a Transcript is unsaved resulting in lost changes to a Transcript.
  • No matter how one quits/exits (eg. shortcut / menu / window-close-or-X-button] all should terminate DOTE fully on Windows & Mac, and explicitly offer to save unsaved Transcripts.
• Fix for the panel-dividers so that they slide smoothly when adjusting the relative size of a panel in the UI.
• Fix to eliminate the wasted space below the video panel if the video-cue panel is hidden (using the video-cue button).
• Fix Window resizing on some displays.
• Fix for 1-year license expiry.

Known Issues

• Some complex neighbourhoods in a transcript using Mondadaian conventions are not realigned correctly
• False positive errors reported with some complex neighbourhoods in a transcript using Mondadaian conventions
