Fireball damage is insane, everyone knows it is. Being direct hit by one is death in about 5 seconds afterwords, even with constitution 20.
Describe the solution you'd like
Reduce fireball damage so a single one isn’t death to even the most powerful of antags.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Fire damage as a whole is op op but the MANIAX being 1 tapped by the court mage throwing out 1 every 3 seconds cause of int is very silly.
Additional context
This is a salt PR big time but I think most people will agree Maniac level stats being 1 shot by a single fireball that can be spammed out by court mages is silly. Currently every single fireball is just old crossbow crits that completely ignore armor and have 1/3 the wind up and a AoE effect. The AoE that will still deal absurd damage usually knocking out within 5 seconds, and you are still on fire after the knockout so it’s just death even when they miss.
(the situation causing my salt was dodging several machine gun fireballs from the court mage hunting me within 10 seconds, finally getting hit by one and dying within about 3 seconds with 20 constitution and no other wounds)
