USDL - Louisiana - Doesn't OCR/Decode the PDF barcode at the back of the card

Description

Hello, after multiple test on both iOS and Android, using either the SDK or blink's sample app. We noticed that the back of the Louisiana US Driving license is not OCR/decoded. We only get the info from the front of the card.

Device model: Samsung S8 / Iphone 13 mini

Device Android version: 9.0

Hello @damienlo; thank you for reaching out.
We are not supporting the OCR reading of the Louisiana DL's backside but the barcode's reading. Would you mind sharing if the scanning finishes with an error message? Which one? Are you scanning real-life documents or samples from the internet? We tested this on our side and obtained successful data from the VIZ on the front side and barcode data from the back.

Also, can you try testing with our Vision app?(Here you can find it for Android, iOS)

I can confirm that it fails on the vision app too. The DL is a real one from one of our client. I cannot share it for security/privacy reasons.

The vision app instantly decode the front, then it says: Scan the barcode.
When the card is positioned in front of the camera we can a progress spinner.
But after a while 20seconds-ish it show a dialog with the message "scan Unsuccessful"

We had to heavily blur the video. but you can see that vision App doesn't pick up the back of the card (the barcode)
