This is a pretty minor but somewhat inconvenient bug. Everything does still install correctly and works as it would on any other downstream Debian distro.
I don't except you to know what this distro is but here's a little summary I can give:

Droidian is a distro based on Debian for Android devices. Droidian uses the original Android kernel, drivers, services, etc for device hardware support by utilising technologies like libhybris and Halium.
