Hey I found the solution
it caused by special characters in filenames like Ö,Ş which don't be in the English
I moved to file a path which doesn't include special characters
Now it works like a charm

Hey all try looking at my fork of Materialize. It fixes some of these issues and may or may not add more.

Seeing the same issue, filename has no special characters. Download that C++ libe. Perhaps i need to give a restart, have not tried that yet. Would be nice if we could see a log window or file so we know whats happening

I ran into the same issues, Materialize doesn't open any images, it also does not display the image's previews in the explorer which is also weird.
However, I haven't been able to succssfully apply any fixes to it yet (I downloaded .NET/C++ libraries, cleaned cache files, clean re-installs, etc). Tried the forks of Materialize but so far all of them use incorrect color spaces which results in my textures getting darker and introducing color banding each time I save them.
