Holding down forward during hard-reset messes up subsequent page setting, leaving most lines blank #258

Circumstances:

  • On last page of the book of torture

  • At this stage when I try to go back one page Canute automatically --- and correctly --- triggers a hard reset, as it has just reached optimum temperature. So far all good.

  • Whilst it was doing that I held down forward. (Sounds like a foolish thing to do, but its easy to do by mistake or because you haven't fully read the manual and are confused by the hard reset.)

  • It loaded the first two lines of the penultimate page, leaving the rest blank.

  • Then those top two lines went back to being from the final page. The rest of the lines were still blank.

This is a write up from notes taken weeks ago, whilst testing a Canute for another issue. Therefore I regret I didn't experiment any further or try to replicate it.
