I am new to the Budibase community. I recently installed it and am trying to understand the product and its capabilities. I started with a small personal use case to test it out.
I would like to calculate the evolution of bank account balances over time. I have a "Transactions" table with the following columns: Account, Date, Description, Amount. I also imported a large dataset to test the limits (+10k rows). I want to add a 5th column called "Balance."
I tried to achieve this using a Formula directly in the database, but it wasn't possible because I couldn't access elements from other rows. From what I understand, the context is limited to the current row, so I can't sum the entire column.
I then decided to use an automation approach. I first tried using the UI with Query Rows, but it is limited to 1,000 rows, which is not sufficient for my tests. I tested with Postman, and there is a concept of pagination, but I couldn't find a way to implement it with looping.
Not reaching my goal, I tried switching to JavaScript and using APIs to query the table with pagination, but I couldn't make POST calls from a JS automation.
Here are my questions:
Is it possible to increase the Query Rows limit beyond 1,000?
Is it possible to make API calls (POST, GET, etc.) from an automation?
How can I use pagination in a Query Rows?

Hello,
I am new to the Budibase community.
Thank you all.
