Hi
Just a wee imput from a player here, I do not know that much about programming.
There is a problem with scaling of playing strength to different time controls.
Maia 9 appears to play 2 minute chess no matter what the time control. This makes her too weak against similarly rated players at longer games.
Still, she feels humanlike but, you know, like a human that doesn't care.
She should not lose pieces so easily at 1900 strength, but then she will play interesting and quite humanlike for a while.
Maybe this has to do with the particular implementation at Lichess? At any rate I hope you find this to be an interesting challenge.
