"has been reserved" code path not reachable from search box

Since December 11, cveform.mitre.org has received at least three user reports of trouble finding reserved CVE IDs from the cve,.org website. It seems that

is no longer reachable by input entered into the search box located at the top of every cve.org page. For example CVE-2024-51386 results in
