Currently (Cantera 3.0.0b1), the Ubuntu packages are built without support for the "native" HDF5 support added in Cantera 3.0, due to the lack of an Ubuntu package for HighFive. To build with HDF5 support, we need to do one of the following:
Vendor HighFive as part of the Debian "patches" for the Cantera Ubuntu packages.
The first option should be relatively easy, since this is a header-only library with no configuration options.
(strictly speaking, this isn't an issue that will necessarily be addressed in this repository, but this seemed like the best place to keep track of it)
