Ext. Control not disabled on limit error and button out of sync #280
Description
When a soft limit is hit and the machine stops, the Ext. Control is not being disabled. This output is primarily present on the Carvera Air and can be used to control a vacuum or a solenoid valve (for compressed air).
I personally use Ext. Control for the solenoid valve, so it continues blowing air, on limit error.. When I now open the lid, all the chips from inside are blasted into freedom and cover my workbench..
Right now, before opening the lid, I always have to manually clear the limit error first and click Ext. Control twice, as the button color is out of sync. It is grey, even though the output is on.
Imo for beginners, a beeping machine, an error message and a running vacuum / air compressor might be a little overwhelming or even frustrating.. 😅
