Coffee berries are food items harvested from flowering coffee shrubs used to make coffee beans. When harvested (through either destroying or interacting with the shrub), a shrub will drop one to three berries. Coffee berries can then be eaten, crafted into coffee beans, or crafted into coffee berry crates (if Farmer's Delight is installed).
If Farmer's Delight is installed, coffee berries can be cut at a cutting board with a knife to make two coffee beans instead of one.
When eaten, coffee berries restore 2 food points and 0.4 food saturation. If eaten by a fox, it will be inflicted with Poison I for 45 seconds.
Journeyman-level farmer villagers may offer to buy eight coffee berries for an emerald.
Coffee beans are seeds crafted from coffee berries or coffee bean blocks. They can be placed on grass blocks, dirt, farmland, etc. to plant coffee shrubs, or used to plant a coffee shrub in a flower pot. Coffee beans are also used to craft coffee bean blocks and ground coffee.
Wandering traders may offer coffee beans in exchange for one emerald.
Jungle pyramid loot chests have a 50% chance of containing coffee beans.
Ground coffee is an ingredient used mainly in brewing coffee. It is crafted from either coffee beans or ground coffee blocks, and can be used in crafting ground coffee blocks.
A coffee bottle is a drink item obtained by brewing coffee in a cauldron or cooking pot (if Farmer's Delight is installed). Coffee bottles are also an ingredient in tiramisu and Java Emblem banner patterns. Coffee bottles can be poured back into a cauldron for storage.
When drunk, a coffee bottle restores 2 food points and 1.2 food saturation, and inflicts Caffeine I for three minutes. If the player is inflicted with Slowness or Mining Fatigue, it is cleared. The glass bottle is returned empty. If drunk by a fox, it will be inflicted with Poison I for 45 seconds.
When a coffee bottle is successfully brewed in a cauldron, the advancement Wake Up and Smell the Coffee is rewarded.
Tiramisu is a food item obtained through crafting with several ingredients: a coffee bottle, two cocoa beans, two eggs, a milk bucket, and three wheat. Master-level farmer villagers may offer to sell tiramisu for an emerald.
When eaten, tiramisu restores 5 food points and 6 food saturation, and inflicts Caffeine II for 30 seconds. If eaten by a fox, it will be inflicted with Poison I for 45 seconds.
A Java Emblem banner pattern is a banner pattern crafted from paper and a coffee bottle. Like all other banner patterns, it can be used an infinite number of times and is not consumed. The Java Emblem pattern displays the logo for the Java programming language, in which Minecraft is written.
