[Discussion] Integrate code into NetBeans codebase

I wonder if you ever thought about trying to integrate the code into NetBeans codebase. Basically it's a quite useful feature which is not that complex.

I am not active anymore in the NB ecosystem. I am open to contribute the code, but someone else has to do the real work
