Is there an existing issue for this?

  • I have searched the existing issues and checked the recent builds/commits

What would your feature do ?

I used to be able to search by typing after clicking on CN loader, Lora loader, and etc but this feature seems not available in the new front end, is there an option to activate this but I cant seem to find this. The filter function on the checkpoint loader cannot search for nested folders too

Search

cp1

cp2

Proposed workflow

  1. Go to ....
  2. Press ....
  3. ...

This is more a bug because we've had it all before and I think such UI changes should be optional, I hate the grouping because then I have to apply the filter individually in each group.

Same issue here, I don't mind it for checkpoint, but not being able to filter list hundreds of GBs of lora is impractical, hope for a return of the input box and name filter. Weirdly enough my load lora nodes still have the text input functions. I would suggest resubmit this as a Bug.

Nesting in those context menus does not happen by default. Try settings -> rgthree -> rgthree-comfy-settings -> Auto Nest Subdirectories in Menus

The search box filter in the menu shows up if there's more than 10 items in the list. That feature has not changed with the new frontend on my end.

Thanks, I think it was the "Enable contextMenu auto nest subdirectories" in the setting, though I don't remember enabling it. I also went to the rgthree setting, ticked it on and off, not sure if that did anything as well, but after restarting the UI everything functions as before.

Which tab in the settings page was "Enable contextMenu auto nest subdirectories" in?

I don't think it's in a tab, seems like the default settings window, I found it below the Anything Anywhere settings, maybe from a custom node?

Thanks. The setting is from ComfyUI-Easy-Use:

I've tried every combination of settings and on my lora loader, nested folders are still not indexed.
