What would your feature do ?

Today, the only thing a user can do with the thumbnail of the generated images in the queue is to open them in a lightbox.

It would be cool if, on top of the eye icon, there would be a star icon to favorite certain images. At that point, the user could go to a new section of the sidebar (identified by a star icon), to see all images liked up to that point.

So, after this change, the sidebar would feature 3 upper sections instead of 2. From top to bottom: queue (clock icon), favorites (star icon), node library (book icon).

Notice that, while the images in the queue get removed every time you restart ComfyUI, the images in the Favorites section would have to remain permanently.

Proposed workflow

  1. Go to the sidebar
  2. Press the Queue button and look at the image
  3. Press a new circle button with a star icon on it for the image you like
  4. The star button remains permanently enabled
  5. Press the new Favorite button in the sidebar
  6. Admire the images you have liked so far
