Apple Feedback Assistant ID: MISSING

DESCRIBE THE BUG:
When rotating a tracker with On Screen Controls, the rotation of the tracker (during a click-edit) is off by the rotation of the video.
The OSC rotation handle does not line up with the mouse and is un"rotated" by the video rotation amount.

This makes trackers difficult to manipulate on rotated videos.

TO REPRODUCE:
on any video, put a tracker on it. Click the rotation OSC and rotate the tracker. It's fine.
Now rotate the video by 45 degrees or 90 degrees (CW or CCW, no matter).
With the rotated video, attempt to use the Tracker OSC to rotate... It's off by the video rotation. The rotation handle does not stay lined up with the mouse. MAJOR USER INTERFACE FAUX PAS.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR:
When rotating a tracker with OSC on a video that is rotated (eg 45 or 90, or etc), the Rotation handle should (itself) be also rotated by the video rotation.

SPECS:

  • 2021 16-inch MacBook Pro (M1 Max, 32GB RAM, 2TB SSD)
  • macOS Sonoma 14.5
  • Final Cut Pro 10.8

This should be an easy one to fix. I'm really surprised by the THOROUGH regression testing that Apple didn't do with FCP.
