I guess it's easy if you are a dev to do this. But it would be awesome to have this available:

My issue is that I'm stuck in Kubuntu 20.04 for now, so won't happen tomorrow.

But I'll get a new PC in the next couple of months, and yes, I'll do this. So probably a bit after the next Kubuntu release :)

I upgraded to KDE 6 today and I lost webslice :( since it's been a while, are there any plans to port this so it works once more?

I've almost got the new PC. So that part is (almost) OK.

But I'm on the Kubuntu cycle, and don't know if KDE6 is backported. If that's the case, I'll be able to dev/test in the coming weeks. If not, it'll be in october, if I'm not mistaken.

Sorry I can't do more right now. But I promise I soon as I can, I'll get to work on it immediately.

Thank you for the great news! Until KDE 6 is unavailable in Kubuntu, you can run KDE Neon image in a Virtualbox inside your Kubuntu and test the plasmoid. I use this approach pretty often to test different things on fresh KDE.

Sure, but dev'ing a plasmoid is already a PITA and adding a level of virtualization on top of that won't help at all ;)

Of course I'll try it, I'll have to see how the new PC will handle it. Moreover, testing in a virtual env isn't remotely similar to testing it as your daily usage do.
All I'm saying is, don't get your hopes up for a quick release. The only thing I can promise is a release before the end of the year. That's all :)

Hi, any news about the porting? I really miss your widget (and the Web Browser Widget from Kubuntu 24.10 crashes my desktop :-( )
