CONTROL + HOME vs SHIFT + T

CONTROL + HOME used to teleport the cursor to the scanned entity.
SHIFT + T used to teleport the player to the cursor.

Now it seems both commands teleport the player to the scanner entity. Is it because the cursor now automatically goes to a selected entity on the scanner list?
