There are no known issues with Lais DCC decoders... can we ask what prompted your question?

We do not know any issues of Lais DCC decoders with particularely our command station. There are however reports of Lais decoders which do talk about a high quote of burning decoders. Some users report "steppy" speed response and not-so-smooth low speed behaviour. It is unclear how Lais did obtain the firmware for their decoders as there are reports that some where delivered with the CV8 showing another vendor. So yes, I think Lais decoders have issues. But not necessarily with the DCC-EX CS.
